I'm a retired medical sociologist from the University of Rochester. Climate change is one of the three greatest challenges currently faced by humanity (along with nuclear weapons, and current and future pandemics). The photos in these galleries show the beauty of our current natural environment, along with the artifacts that we have built upon it.  As you view the photos think about how these artifacts might affect the environment, along with the effects of human induced climate change.
